A variety of events are taking place at Seneca to celebrate International Women’s Day (IDW), including:

Seneca HELIX #IWD2023 Celebration — Tuesday, March 7 at 6 p.m.

Join a virtual panel discussion with inspiring woman leaders as they discuss their journeys and how they navigated new ways to embrace equity.

In Conversation with Erica Johnson, investigative journalist — Wednesday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m.

Listen to Robert Ballantyne, Professor, School of Marketing & Media, chat with CBC News: Go Public’s Erica Johnson about how she navigated a career in investigative journalism. All are welcome to attend the live broadcast in Room S1209, Seneca@York Campus or join the live stream.

Celebrate IWD with the Seneca Student Federation — March 8

Participate in a variety of activities at the following campuses:

  • The Northern Hive, King Campus and The Kickback, Markham Campus at noon
  • Senecentre, Newnham Campus at 11 a.m.
  • The Hive, Seneca@York Campus at 9 a.m.
