Description: The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30 is a day of remembrance, learning and action.  September 30 is also Orange Shirt Day, acknowledging the tragic history and impact of the residential school system in Canada. It honours the thousands of Indigenous children who never returned home, survivors and families and communities.
