Description:  A special presentation with Zakiya Tafari, Executive Director Afri-Can FoodBasket, to discuss Black food justice and sovereignty. Discuss the implications of the high costs of foods and inflation of cultural foods on Black communities. Take part in a cooking demonstration to try tasty cultural foods across the Black diaspora and discuss ways to deepen connections with ancestral diets.

All are welcome to attend, and light refreshments will be served. Email the Office for Reconciliation and Inclusion for accessibility needs.
