Haas Automation is the largest machine tool builder in the United States and one of the largest builders of CNC machines in the world. Haas manufactures a complete line of CNC vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, turning centers, 5-axis machining centers, and rotary products, as well as a wide selection of fully integrated automation solutions, including automatic parts loaders, pallet-pool systems, and 6-axis robot systems.
For this reason, Haas has developed a Haas CNC Certification Program, which includes Mill and Lathe Operator certification. The exam is divided into two parts, online courses and hands-on test. Details are below:
The online courses are designed to provide the basic knowledge necessary to get started as a CNC machine operator or CNC machinist. They offer an introduction to basic CNC machine operation, proper machine safety, and fundamental machining processes. After the online course is completed, a hands-on test is required to obtain your Certificate.
Who can apply for the certification hands-on test?
All Seneca students who successfully passed the following courses:

What is the cost of the certification hands-on test?
The cost is $50 CAD for each hands-on test for the Mill and Lathe Operator certificate. The fees must be paid to Seneca Polytechnic before the hands-on test.
