Seneca offers various scholarships, bursaries and other awards based on both academic achievement and financial need. The values of the awards range from $50 to $5,000.

To be eligible to apply for an award, scholarship or bursary, you must be a Seneca student.
You must also meet the specific eligibility requirements outlined for each award. For example, scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement. This means that you must meet the minimum grade requirement to be eligible for the award.
Bursaries are awarded based on financial need. This means that you must meet the requirements for the specific bursary program to be eligible.
In addition, there are some awards that are open to all students, while some are offered only to students in specific programs.
We recommend you apply early for awards so you have the most up-to-date financial information when you confirm your program of study.
After you have submitted your application, you can track the status of your application by selecting "View My Student Awards" under the "Financial Aid" tile. You must select the correct year to see your award of choice. If you applied for multiple awards you may need to scroll across to see all the awards.

If you receive an award, you will be asked to provide a thank you letter to share with the donor who funded your award. In addition, when applicable, you may be invited to the annual Seneca Awards reception in the spring and are encouraged to attend.
