Awarded to a full-time student in the School of Marketing who demonstrates financial need. This award is established by Seneca retiree George Jamieson who worked at Seneca for almost 30 years teaching marketing, entrepreneurship and business.
Award will be given on to a student enrolled in their final year of the Biotechnologist Technology - Research program who has achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Eligible students must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, Ontario residents and have demonstrated financial need.
Awarded to graduating students in Civil Engineering programs, based on high academic achievement combined with demonstrated commitment to their chosen field of study. Recommendation is made by faculty members.
This award will be given to one FPR student in second, third or fourth year as recommended by the safety officer and agreed on by the flight line staff and Faculty. The recipient will have demonstrated financial need and have displayed initiative in promoting safety for pilots and aircraft at Seneca. They may have displayed this creativity by coordinating efforts of others to achieve their safety goals, publishing articles for Flight Safety Review and/or encouraging other involvement.
The award is given to a full-time student, who is enrolled in any three-year Civil Engineering Technology program within the Centre for the Built Environment. The recipient will have a minimum GPA of 2.5, have completed two HCAT work terms and demonstrate strong foundation in Engineering knowledge, excellent technical and communication skills, and professional attitudes geared towards success in the industry. The selection of a recipient will be made by faculty members and a representative of HCAT.
Awarded to a full-time international student in the Fraud Examination and Forensic Accounting graduate certificate program. If there are no eligible students in this program, it will be awarded to a full-time international student in the Financial Services Compliance Administration graduate certificate program. The recipient has a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrates financial need. This award is established by a proud alumni who believes in working hard and not giving up.
Awarded to a full-time student in the Real Property Administration (Assessment & Appraisal) program, who has high academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.5, good attendance and participation in the classroom. This award was created in memory of Henry Brendel who was a professor of the Real Property Administration program and a strong supporter of students.
Awarded to an international student in a full-time program with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above. The recipient will be selected by the Awards Committee.
Rewarded each academic year to the top two students who have secured the highest marks in each of the following courses: Mathematics of Business and Finance course (MBF101 and MBF100) and Introduction to Mathematics (Algebra) (MTH158). In the instance of a tie, the reward will go to the recipient with the higher program GPA. The reward is available to students in the fall, winter, and summer terms and will be adjudicated once per year at the end of the summer term. A student can only win once per year.
Awarded to a student in a full-time or part-time program who demonstrates financial need and is successfully progressing through their program. Awarded to a domestic student who identifies as black and is enrolled full-time in any animation program. The qualified recipient must have either been a current resident or spent a significant portion of their upbringing in an at-risk community, as defined by the Toronto Neighbourhood Improvement Areas. They should have demonstrated resilience in overcoming hardships in pursuing their studies, demonstrated academic achievement of a GPA of 3.0 or above, and exhibited financial need. Additionally, the recipient should have a history of volunteering in the community.

Awarded to a second-year student who identifies as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit, who has a minimum GPA of 2.5 and who is involved in community leadership. Preference will be given to students in the full-time Business Administration- Marketing Advanced Diploma Program. Established by alumna Starrlee DeGrace, proud member of the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation and a 2023 Top 50 Globle and Mail Changemaker, in honour of her grandfather, John Peter Hill, who always encouraged her to pursue her aspirations and instilled in her the importance of post-secondary education.
Awarded to an international student in a full-time program who has a GPA of 4.0 and demonstrates financial need. The recipient is dedicated to helping others, actively volunteers, and/or embodies a service-oriented mindset, particularly through assisting peers at Seneca. Preference is given to students who are also engaged in their community outside of Seneca, with further preference for those who support other international students or newcomers. This award is established by Jerin Raj, a Seneca employee, former Seneca governor, and passionate advocate for students and newcomers.

The recipients will have a minimum program GPA of 3.0, exhibit a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. The recipients will be invited to receive the award at the annual Canada Sales Congress. They are encouraged to attend to receive recognition and represent Seneca. This award remembers Joe Dickstein, an exemplary leader who made many meaningful contributions to the insurance industry.
Awarded to a full-time student enrolled in Computer Systems Technology (CTY) or Computer Systems Technician (CSN) who is a team player with strong people skills. The recipient will have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need. The recipient will be recommended by faculty. This award was established in memory of Joey Perkins, Seneca alumnus and long-time employee who is remembered for his dedication, humour and friendship.
Open to students in the School of Media, the School of Creative Arts and Animation, and the Creative Advertising program. The recipient produces high quality work and demonstrates a strong understanding of program concepts. Eligible students must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, Ontario residents and have demonstrated financial need. The recipient will be recommended by faculty. This is awarded in memory of Seneca professor John Small.

Students will be judged upon their participation as student mentors, industry event volunteers, active class participants, etc. Students must have a positive effect on the program. At least one award will be given to a female student, and one to a male student.
