The award is given to a full-time student, who is enrolled in any three-year Civil Engineering Technology program within the Centre for the Built Environment. The recipient will have a minimum GPA of 2.5, have completed two HCAT work terms and demonstrate strong foundation in Engineering knowledge, excellent technical and communication skills, and professional attitudes geared towards success in the industry. The selection of a recipient will be made by faculty members and a representative of HCAT.

Awarded to a second-year student who identifies as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit, who has a minimum GPA of 2.5 and who is involved in community leadership. Preference will be given to students in the full-time Business Administration- Marketing Advanced Diploma Program. Established by alumna Starrlee DeGrace, proud member of the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation and a 2023 Top 50 Globle and Mail Changemaker, in honour of her grandfather, John Peter Hill, who always encouraged her to pursue her aspirations and instilled in her the importance of post-secondary education.

The recipients will have a minimum program GPA of 3.0, exhibit a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. The recipients will be invited to receive the award at the annual Canada Sales Congress. They are encouraged to attend to receive recognition and represent Seneca. This award remembers Joe Dickstein, an exemplary leader who made many meaningful contributions to the insurance industry.
Awarded to students in the School of Information Technology Administration & Security and the School of Software Design & Data Science. Recipients demonstrate academic achievement and are returning to Seneca College the following semester. Students will be judged upon their participation as student mentors, industry event volunteers, active class participants, etc. Students must have a positive effect on the program. At least one award will be given to a female student, and one to a male student. Eligible students must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, Ontario residents and have demonstrated financial need.
Awarded to students in the School of Management and Entrepreneurship or the Social Service Worker programs or the Nursing Programs. The recipient shall have sound academic standing, above average dedication, compassion and caring, demonstrated significant commitment and effort to their education and demonstrated financial need. Eligible students must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, and Ontario residents. Recommendation is made by faculty members.
Awarded to a graduating student in the LAT program who maintains a GPA of 3.0 and is intending to enroll in a degree program. They have shown growth in their learning, mindset and resilience by demonstrating leadership and collaboration in the classroom environment and have consistently upheld academic integrity.
Awarded to full-time students in the Business Administration – International Business program. The recipient is dedicated, hardworking and has a minimum GPA of 3.0. Eligible students must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, Ontario residents and have demonstrated financial need. The recipient will be selected by faculty.
