Awarded to students who are members of clubs at Seneca that have a mission related to engagement, empowerment, or support for Black, African, or Caribbean students. This includes, but is not limited to: the Seneca West Indian African Association (SWIAA), the African Community Seneca, the Seneca Caribbean Association, and the Seneca Early Childhood Educators Black Students Association. Recipients will have demonstrated financial need. Selection is based on academic achievement (GPA of 3.0 or above), leadership skills and community involvement.
Scholarship will be given to a mature/single parent student in any Office Administration program. The student must be registered in his/her second semester and have a history of high academic standing. Eligible students must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, Ontario residents and have demonstrated financial need. Selection is made by faculty members

Awarded to students enrolled in the Esthetician diploma program or the Esthetics & Medical Spa Therapies advanced diploma program. The recipients shall have sound academic standing, above average dedication, compassion and caring, demonstrated leadership and involvement in community or Seneca's student life. Eligible students must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, Ontario residents and have demonstrated financial need. The selection of recipients are made by faculty members.
One or more awards will be given to one or more deserving students in the FPR program on completion, who has clearly demonstrated continuous best effort in mastering the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful professional pilot. The recipient must, as Sheryl did on so many occasions, also have displayed the willingness to motivate and help others achieve their highest potential in the Aviation program. Students are encouraged to provide input into the choosing of the recipient with Faculty making the final decision.
Awarded to a third-year student in the full-time Bachelor of Science – Cosmetic Science degree program. The recipient must demonstrate creativity as well as collaboration and teamwork in the lab and have a high GPA. With the previous criteria being equal, financial need will be the determining factor. The Society of Cosmetic Chemists will offer the award recipients additional engagement opportunities, such as writing an article for their newsletter, making a presentation at a chapter meeting and complimentary attendance to chapter events.
Awarded to a non-graduating domestic student who is returning in the fall semester who has a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above and has demonstrated high financial need. Preference is given to a student who has not received an award or scholarship in the same cycle. The recipient will be selected by the Seneca College Awards Committee. Awarded to a domestic student who identifies as black and is enrolled full-time in any program. The qualified recipient must have a permanent disability (physical, intellectual, mental health or learning) who are receiving accommodations through Seneca Accessible Learning Services. Priority will be given to those who have either been a current resident or spent a significant portion of their upbringing in an at-risk community, as defined by the Toronto Neighbourhood Improvement Areas. Recipients should have demonstrated academic achievement of a GPA of 3.0 or above and exhibited financial need. This award is created in honour of Stan and Alexandra Papageorge who were entrepreneurial and believed in giving back to the community.
Awarded to a student in the School of Fashion who demonstrates having taken thoughtful steps to pursue positive outcomes for both people and planet through design philosophy grounded in sustainable design practices, considering 1 or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals through each step of the project.
Awarded to full-time students in the School of Accounting & Financial Services who exemplify strong leadership and active community involvement.
