I got a message that Your Windows or Office license will expire soon, what can I do?

If you are using a Seneca student Loaner Laptop, you might be receiving this message because the Microsoft Windows or Office will expire shortly.  In order to prevent this, you will need to log into the Student VPN and wait 30 minutes for the automatic activation to take place.  Please follow the steps below to activate Microsoft Windows/Office.

1. Click on the Start Menu
2. Type "Global Protect" in the search box
3. Click on the Global Protect icon to launch the VPN client
4. If this is your first time using the VPN client, the GlobalProtect client box will be displayed
5. Enter studentvpn.senecapolytechnic.ca and click Connect
