From road signs, to social media posts, to resumes, infographics play a substantial role in how we consume and share information. In this webinar we will show you how infographics can be used to convey complex information in a concise and visually appealing manner. We will introduce some design tips that will help make your infographic clear and legible. We will also share some freely available resources where you can gather graphics and images that you can use in your infographic without the worry of infringing copyright. Join us as we build an infographic using some free online infographic creators and demonstrate how you can turn PowerPoint into an infographic creation tool.

Please note: Attendees are expected to have a basic understanding of PowerPoint.

For animated/video infographic assignments: We recommend that you attend our Creating Videos with PowerPoint webinar. We do not cover videos in the Creating Infographics workshop.

Webinar Tips:

  • Please disable your microphone and webcam when entering the webinar and only unmute your microphone when asking a question.
  • In order to preserve bandwidth and to make things a little less confusing, we ask you to keep your webcam disabled for the duration of the webinar.
  • Webinars are hosted through Zoom. Information on setting up Zoom can be found through IT Services

Look out for both the confirmation email upon registration and the reminder email three hours before the start of the webinar. Both emails will have link to the webinar as well as a registration cancellation link.  Staff will wait 10 minutes and disconnect if there is no attendance.
