    You are eligible to apply for OSAP if:

    • You are a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person.
    • If Ontario is the last province in which you or a spouse/parent resided for at least 12 consecutive months without being a full-time postsecondary student. Unless you are a new immigrant to Canada who has landed directly in Ontario from your original country of residence.
    • You plan to enrol in at least 60 per cent of a full course load per term. (40 per cent if you are a student with a confirmed permanent disability).
