How to Apply

• Explore Seneca Works for work study eligible positions or directly through a hiring department.
• Once hired, submit an application for work study online.
  • Log in at Student Home
  • Select the “Financial Aid” tile then select “Apply for Financial Aid”
  • Choose the magnifying glass icon to select your academic year
  • Select terms of study (Fall, Winter, Summer)
  • Fill out the required information and click submit to view eligible awards.
  • Select all awards, including the Work Study Program Eligible award (this will appear as an option at least three weeks before each term begins). You are required to check this off for each term that you apply as a work study student.
  • Click Submit
• Check your application status at Student Home and selecting the “Financial Aid” tile then “View My Student Awards.” Once you confirm your eligibility, let your employer know.

Timelines:

The Work Study Program Eligible will appear at least three weeks before each term begins.

Note: You must submit your application and check off Work Study Program Eligible before the dates listed below. If you do not, you will not be eligible for the Work Study Program.

• Fall term deadline: Two weeks before the end of the term.
• Winter term deadline: Two weeks before the end of the term.
• Summer term deadline: Two weeks before the end of the term.
