Monday, Nov. 18

Resumé and Cover Letter Writing | 10:45 to 11:35 a.m. | Register

In this workshop, you will learn how to recognize your skills and articulate the link between your skills and the job posting. Join us in this session to identify which resume style fits you and tailor your resumé to your job.


Tuesday, Nov. 19

Work-related Regulations and Working in Canada for International Students | 9:50 to 10:40 a.m. | Register

In partnership with International Student Services, this session will cover work regulations, temporary policy changes, workplace expectations, job search tips, your rights at work, and other available resources.

Self-employment as a Career Option | 10:45 to 11:35 p.m. | Register

Find out what it takes to be successful and get resources that will give you a head-start. Get inspired as you hear other people's stories and feel the plausibility of the prospect of running your own business.


Wednesday, Nov. 20

Academic Pathways: Pathways to Further Education | 9:50 to 10:40 a.m. | Register

In this session you will learn about possible educational pathways after college and get an opportunity to connect with representatives from our Academic Pathways Office to ask your questions.

Networking Skills | 10:45 to 11:35 a.m. | Register

In this workshop, you will learn how to plan and prepare for networking events, introduce yourself and explain what you do, establish, and maintain relationships.

HELIX- Entrepreneurship | 2:25 to 3:15 p.m. | Register

HELIX, Seneca's on-campus innovation and entrepreneurship incubator, supports students in developing their innovation mindset. This no-cost extracurricular initiative equips students with the skills to design, launch, and scale sustainable start-ups or enter the workforce as intrapreneurs.


Thursday, Nov. 21

Applied Research | 9:50 to 10:40 a.m. | Register

Seneca Applied Research creates opportunities for students to work on collaborative research projects with Seneca faculty and industry/community partners. Join us to learn about Applied Research, participation options, and how it can assist in achieving your career goals.

Job Search Skills | 2:25 to 3:15 p.m. | Register

In this workshop, learn how to conduct an effective job search using a variety of strategies, think creatively about where to look for jobs and identify the difference between visible and hidden job market. Join us to learn how to prepare for & get organized for an effective job search.

Evening Critiques | 5 to 7 p.m. | Register

Individual appointments are available for students to engage with Career Development Practitioners for personalized career planning consultations.

LinkedIn | 10:45 to 11:35 a.m. | Register

Join us virtually and learn how to use LinkedIn and create an effective profile and ways to expand your network using this social media platform.
