If a student forges a mentor’s signature or submits false information on any field placement documentation (ie: timesheets, planning sheets) they will be in violation of Seneca’s Academic Integrity policy. Therefore, students found guilty of falsifying field placement documentation may fail the field placement course and any corresponding co-requisite.
Seneca upholds the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice as stated in the College of Early of Childhood Education. Presenting False or Misleading Information is also violation of the Student Code of Conduct policy. Students guilty of submitting fictitious documentation may be referred to the Student Conduct office.
Forgery and falsifying documentation affects our external partners and negatively impacts Seneca’s reputation and will not be tolerated.
