Digital Conversion

Welcome! The Digital Conversion team supports eligible international students with their initial study permit application to Canada. The team's Registered Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and Application Engagement managers work with international students individually and in groups to i) assess visa candidacy, ii) provide guidance and support during the study-permit application process and iii) integrate students into the larger Seneca community using digital means

The Digital Conversion team's suite of services are currently available to students who are not already being supported by an international student recruitment agent.

Joyce Dayao is a seasoned education professional with over 10 years of experience in international student education, both in the Philippines and Canada. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts from Miriam College in the Philippines and a Graduate Certificate in International Business Management from Seneca Polytechnic. Throughout her career, Joyce has demonstrated strong skills in student profile assessment, program counseling, international admissions, and student visa processing. Her work has spanned various roles, from Education Counsellor to Digital Engagement Manager, where she has led initiatives to enhance applicant experiences and improve conversion rates. Joyce has also been instrumental in creating digital communities and streamlining processes to better assist students with their study permits.

With over 15 years of experience in guiding international students, Lorena Martinez is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). She has guided international students from start to finish, leveraging her personalized and empathetic approach. Lorena herself immigrated to Canada as an international student, which informs her insightful advice. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University, and she specializes in study permit and temporary visa applications. She has guided hundreds of international students to land successfully in Canada.

Amaoge Omenye is a dynamic and results-driven business professional and immigration consultant with over 12 years of experience in international student education management and immigration counselling. With a graduate degree in Business Administration (from the University of South Wales, England) and a Specialised Certification in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures (from the University of British Columbia, Canada), her expertise lies in crafting and implementing compelling region-specific immigration strategies and solutions that address the challenges faced by international students in various countries. Amaoge is dedicated to leveraging the latest technologies and trends to enhance and simplify the applicant experience and immigration journey for international students coming to Seneca Polytechnic.

Charles Ahanonu is a service-oriented and student-centered education professional. With a diploma in Engineering Technology and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, he is uniquely skilled in combining technology and tailored services to deliver exceptional student experiences. As a former international student and with over 10 years of experience supporting international students with their transition to Canada and through their studies, he brings a wealth of knowledge in intercultural communication and has an advanced understanding of immigration and international education in Canada. He obtained his Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) license from CDI college in Ontario. He is a lifelong learner with a passion for student success and remains committed to prioritizing the needs and success of students at Seneca Polytechnic.

With 20 years of progressive experience in international education, Rita has the privilege of leading this dedicated and experienced team of RCICs and RISIAs. While her professional career has spanned everything from student recruitment and marketing to partnerships and teaching, her commitment to international students has remained unchanged. Rita possesses an Honours BA in East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master in Communications Management from McMaster University. She is currently studying for her RISIA.
