Setting an Intention for the Day
Please ensure you are in a safe and comfortable place while we move through this mindfulness moment.
Take a slow breath in, and gently exhale.
Begin by noticing how you’re arriving in this moment, your thoughts, your emotions, your energy.
Now, invite a simple intention for your day.Something supportive.Something grounding.Something you need.
Quietly say it in your mind:
Today, I will move with purpose.Today, I will be present.Today, I will be gentle with myself.
Choose the phrase that resonates with you, or create your own.
Let your intention settle in your body.Feel it guiding your breath.Feel it setting the tone for the hours ahead.
This is intention-setting, a quiet commitment to yourself.
