How many courses do I need for OSAP?

  • To be eligible for full-time OSAP, you need a minimum course load of 60% over the entire semester (40% if you have a documented permanent disability). The actual number of courses this translates to varies from program to program and even from semester to semester within a program. You should always consult with your student adviser or  Financial Aid to determine how many courses you need for the upcoming semester.

    OSAP support is also available for part-time students; generally two full-time course equivalents are required.
