Students are academically withdrawn from a program at the end of a term where their academic progress is not sufficient to put them on the path to graduation.
Students who have been academically withdrawn from one program may choose to apply to another program right away, and may also choose to re-apply to the program from which they have been withdrawn, generally after a minimum of two semesters (although readmission to a program after having been withdrawn is not guaranteed). Academically withdrawn students may also be recommended to study in our General Arts & Science program while they are getting back on the path to success and exploring their future career path.
Withdrawn students who are considering another program at Seneca are encouraged to consult our program offerings, or connect with an admissions counsellor.
