How do I use a Campus Meal Plan? 

The meal plan you load to your OneCard works like a debit card: whenever you buy a meal on campus the amount of your purchase is subtracted from your account. All meal plans can be used at any Seneca Dining Service location at Newnham, King and Seneca@York Campus, plus Subway in the Residence at Newnham Campus.

Expiry

When your tax-free meal plan expires any remaining amount from your “You Pay” purchase is automatically transferred to OneCard dollars for your future use.  It will no longer be tax free and can be used for purchases at other Seneca locations.  Unspent Bonus Dollars become forfeit.

What is a Meal Plan? 
A meal plan is a prepaid dining account that allows students to purchase food and beverages at campus dining locations. It offers convenience, savings, and flexibility.
What are the different meal plan options?
Students can choose from multiple meal plans based on their dining habits, budget, and campus availability. Options may include Casual, Light Eater, Semester Plan, and Light Eater Plan with varying dollar amounts.
Where can I use my meal plan?
Meal plans can be used at all participating dining locations at Seneca King, Seneca Newnham, and Seneca @York. These locations Include Cafeterias, Starbucks, Tim Horton’s, and Subway.
How long is my meal plan valid?
Depending on the plan you choose, meal plans can be valid for two months to two terms. See the table above to find a plan that is best for you.
What are the benefits of purchasing a meal plan?
Benefits include tax-free savings on food purchases, bonus dollars on top-ups, convenient cashless transactions, flexibility in dining choices, and the ability to order meals online.
How does the top-up bonus work?
When students add funds to their meal plan, they may receive bonus dollars, giving them extra value beyond their initial deposit. Bonus percentages vary based on top-up amounts.
Can I use my meal plan for online ordering?
Yes, most meal plans allow students to place orders online for pickup at campus dining locations, making it easy to grab food between classes. You can Place an online order at https://orders.senecadining.ca/
Can I share my meal plan with others? 
Meal plans are non-transferable and meant for personal use only.However you can still purchase as many meal as you want, as the meal plan balance works just like a credit card, and the balance deducting the amount from the total amount in the plan.
What happens if I run out of funds on my meal plan?
Students can easily add more funds through an online portal or at designated campus locations. Some plans also offer automatic top-up options.
How do I sign up for a voluntary meal plan?
Students can enroll in a meal plan through the Seneca OneCard website, at campus OneCard offices, or during orientation events.
