October is Cyber Security Awareness Month at Seneca Polytechnic. 

As the internet continues to play an increasingly bigger role in more facets of our lives, the need to protect ourselves and our data when we are online has never been greater. 

This month, enhance your knowledge on the topic of cybersecurity and have some fun in the process by: 

• Testing your cybersecurity know-how by participating in the Phishing Derby

• Completing the Foundational Online Security Awareness digital badge 

• Stopping by one of the following in-person booths for valuable cybersecurity tips and resources

  • Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | The Service Hub, Newnham Campus 

  • Thursday, Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | In front of the Library, Seneca@York Campus

  • Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | In front of the Library, King Campus

  • Thursday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Main Lobby, Markham Campus
