As a part of the Seneca and wider community, it is important to understand what sexual violence is and how to provide support to someone who has been affected by sexual violence. This module aims to equip and empower students as well as provide them with transferable skills to any workplace.
Take the Consent@Seneca: Building a Culture of Consent On and Off Campus and empower yourself and your peers with skills that make a difference — on campus, in the workplace, and beyond.
You'll be equipped with the tools to:
identify the impact of sexual violence;
learn what consent really means;
receive and respond to disclosures of sexual violence with empathy and respect;
identify support resources available; and
apply bystander intervention strategies.
The full module features interactive videos with Seneca student ambassadors, a short film, and various realistic scenarios. Plus, you’ll earn a digital badge upon completion to show your commitment to healthy relationships and safer communities!
