Consent@Seneca: building a culture of consent on and off campus

At Seneca Polytechnic, we are committed to fostering healthy relationships and safer communities.

It is important to understand what sexual violence is and how to support those affected by it. Consent@Seneca aims to equip and empower students with the tools to build a culture of consent on and off campus.

Practice self-care

We know talking about sexual violence can be difficult, so we encourage you to practise self-care while navigating the Consent@Seneca online space.

Listen to your body: Have water nearby, stand and stretch if you are comfortable and able, and be mindful of your breathing.

Be patient with yourself: We are all learning, unlearning, and relearning. You aren’t expected to be an expert by the end of this module — you’re doing your best by showing up today.
