The Centre for Immigrant and Community Services (CICS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping immigrants, refugees, and other new comers settle and integrate into Canadian society. CICS provides a wide range of services that support individuals and families as they adjust to life in Canada, with programs focusing on languages training, employment support and cultural orientation.
Since 1974, CLEO (Community Legal Education Ontario / Éducation juridique communautaire Ontario) has developed clear, accurate, and practical legal rights education and information to help people understand and exercise their legal rights. Our work focuses on providing information to people who face barriers to accessing the justice system, including income, disability, literacy, and language. As a community legal clinic and part of Ontario’s legal aid system, we work in partnership with other legal clinics and community organizations across the province.
Our work includes:
COSTI Immigrant Services coordinates and administers the bilingual International Student Connect (ISC) project across Ontario. Its purpose is to provide relevant resources and an appropriate service response to the settlement needs of international students and their families. The project is funded by the Government of Ontario.
Morcare
Morcare provides international students with health insurance and access to necessary healthcare while supporting their overall wellness and adjustment to life in Canada. We are excited to introduce Morcare Benefit Plan Office on campus at Newnham coming soon!
North York Community House

Seneca Immigration Specialists (Student Services)
Connect with an immigration specialist and ask questions about the temporary resident documents that are required to study at Seneca Polytechnic including, but not limited to: study permits, visas, work permits and/or Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility.

The mandate of the SSF Inc. is "to provide services & activities that benefit and meet the needs of Seneca students in a fiscally responsible manner within a learning environment". It is the goal of every Student Council (there are Councils at King, Newnham, Seneca@York and SIA) to offer a wide variety of programs and services to students and to represent the needs and concerns of students to the College's administration.

Seneca’s innovation and entrepreneurship incubator. Offers free programs like the innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubator and HELIX RISE. Participants are equipped with the tools to launch startups or innovate within existing organizations. By fostering intrapreneurship, HELIX helps individuals adapt and develop innovative solutions across various sectors.

Student Support Groups
Student Support Groups, facilitated by Student Ambassadors, are identity-based groups that provide a warm and welcoming environment where equity deserving students who share similar identities and experiences can connect. Whether you're new on campus, feeling disconnected, or seeking friends who share the same identities, our groups provide a space where you can find your people.
With Student Support Groups you will have access to resources on campus during your time at Seneca. As well as off-campus for when you graduate. Resources that will help keep you connected and moving forward with respect to your self-identity. Our goal is to guide and support students now, so they have a head start when they graduate.
Toronto Fire Services is the City’s only all hazards emergency response organization. Fire Services provides Toronto residents, visitors and businesses with protection against loss of life, property and the environment from the effects of fire, illness, accidents, and all other hazards through preparedness, prevention, public education, and emergency response, with an emphasis on quality services, efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
