The Research Learning Series offered by Seneca Applied Research includes five different modules that will provide you with important information for when you embark on your research journey.
Four modules — Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging in Research Design and Implementation, Research Ethics, Research Survey Questions and Responsible Conduct of Research — are a collaboration between Seneca Polytechnic and Humber College through the Humber Seneca Polytechnic Partnership. As a Seneca student, please refer to the Seneca resources.
The module Research Intellectual Property was developed by College La Cité, in collaboration with George Brown College and Canadore College and funded by the Ontario Online Learning Consortium, also known as eCampusOntario.
To self-enrol into the modules, log into Learn@Seneca using your Seneca student credentials. Then click on each link listed under the course description to enrol. Once you are enrolled, the module will display on your dashboard.
Note: Every module is standalone. You may choose and select which module you would like to enrol.
Deadline to register is Friday December 6.
The objective of this online module is to demystify the concepts of intellectual property with key players within the framework of college applied research programs. To help put the notion of intellectual property in college research into perspective, students will follow a fictitious project.
