Important: Payments made at a Canadian financial institution can take up to five business days to be processed. Online payments can take up to 24 business hours to be processed. Payment can be confirmed in Student Home.
Fees are due by the first day of classes in the term. Seneca reserves the right to withhold services if fees are not paid by the due date.
A late fee (penalty) of $150 will be applied after the last day to drop courses without receiving a grade and with a refund. A second late fee (penalty) of $150 will be applied if the outstanding balance is still not cleared in the same term.

All domestic students must pay a non-refundable deposit of $200 once in an academic year (September to August). The deposit is required to hold your seat in the program and build your class schedule. Please note that full fees for the term are due on the first day of classes. View fees due dates for more information.
If you have applied for student loans through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), you must still pay the non-refundable enrolment deposit of $200 to be eligible to enrol in classes. You must first enrol in classes in order to receive OSAP funding.
All international students starting their first term or a current international student beginning a new program must pay a $2,000 tuition deposit no later than the due date noted on the fee notice.
To download a copy of your official payment receipt for your study permit application, log into Student Home, and follow the instructions found on the Seneca International website.
If you are an international student continuing or returning in your same program of study, or are beginning a new program after completing your first Seneca credential, you must pay a non-refundable deposit of $2,000 for your first term in the academic year (September to August) to be eligible to enrol in classes. To submit payment using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or debit card (including Visa/MasterCard Debit), please use one of the methods below. Beginning on July 6, 2026, the third-party payment processor will be charging a 2.5 per cent non-refundable convenience fee for credit card transactions and a 1.5 per cent convenience fee for debit card transactions.
To protect yourself and ensure your tuition payments are completed safely and securely, all tuition and fee payments should be made directly through Seneca’s authorized payment channels.
Your Seneca ID number (found on your Offer of Admission Letter) must be included on any form of payment made to Seneca.

If you pay using bank transfer: make the payment using the payment instructions generated through your bank online, at a branch or by phone. For bank transfer to China, you will be redirected to the Geoswift website.

Part-time Studies Registration Options
Important note for part-time students of Practical Nursing (PND-C):
New PND-C students starting their first term in Winter 2026 and onwards must pay a non-refundable deposit of $200 once in an academic year. The deposit is required to hold your seat in the program and build your class schedule. The remaining balance of your first term is due on the first day of classes. If you register for a course after the first day of classes, fees must be paid upon enrolment.
