Important: payments made at a Canadian financial institution will take up to five business days to be processed. Online payments can take up to 24 business hours to be processed. Payment can be confirmed in Student Home.

Canadian Students

If you are a Canadian student, you must pay a non-refundable deposit of $200 once in an academic year (September to August).

The $200 non-refundable deposit is required the first time you plan to enrol in an academic year in order to be eligible to enrol in classes.

Please note that full fees for the term are due on the first day of classes.

OSAP Applicants

Students who have applied for student loans (OSAP) must also pay the non-refundable enrolment deposit of $200 to be eligible to enrol in classes. Students must first enrol in classes in order to receive OSAP funding.

International Students

If you are a newly admitted international student starting your first term or a current international student beginning a new program, you must pay full fees no later than the due date noted on your invoice.

To download a copy of your official payment receipt for your study permit application, log into Student Home, and follow the instructions found on the Seneca International website.

If you are an international student continuing or returning in your same program of study, or are beginning a new program after completing your first Seneca credential, you must pay a non-refundable deposit of $4,000 for your first term in the academic year (September to August) to be eligible to enrol in classes.

Wire Payment

Important reminder: As of Sept. 30, 2021 Seneca will no longer accept wire transfers through RBC. Please see below for other payment methods.

Flywire

Seneca has partnered with Flywire to provide our international students with a secure payment method that simplifies the payment process. With Flywire, you can pay online from banks and countries around the world, usually in your home currency.

• use payment methods like bank transfer, credit cards and e-payments (Alipay/PayPal) making the process familiar and easy for you
• avoid unnecessary bank fees and receive favourable foreign exchange rates
• track the progress of your payment anytime; Flywire’s multilingual customer support is available to help 24-7 using multiple channels. 

To begin your payment, visit the Seneca Flywire payment site where you will follow the instructions provided by Flywire to complete the payment.  

How to Make a Payment

1. Get started: visit the Seneca Flywire payment site and select the country of origin and amount you want to pay
2. Select payment method: review the payment options provided and select your preferred method; options may include bank transfer, debit/credit card in your home currency, electronic payment or other local options
3. Enter your details: enter some basic information to initiate your payment; we will include this information with your payment for easy identification by your institution
4. Make your payment: follow the instructions provided to send funds to Flywire via your selected method:
   • Bank transfer: follow the instructions provided to send your funds; depending on your bank, payment may be made online, in person or over the phone
   • Debit/credit card: enter your card details online to complete your payment in your home currency
   Note: additional local payment options may be available depending on your country of origin
5. Track and confirm: receive email and text updates each step of the way, including a confirmation when your payment has been delivered; you can also create a Flywire account to track your payment online 24/7

Convera GlobalPay for International Students

With Convera GlobalPay for International Students you can pay international fees: 

• by bank transfer or online payment options in your local currency 
• using convenient payment methods 
• on a multi-language platform: French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Indonesian, English, Spanish, Hindi, Japanese and Arabic

How to Make a Payment

1. select the country you are paying from and the amount you want to pay
2. choose your preferred method of payment
3. enter your payment and payor details
4. process the payment

If you pay using bank transfer: make the payment using the payment instructions generated through your bank online, at a branch or by phone. For bank transfer to China, you will be redirected to the Geoswift website.

If you pay using online options: at the end of the process, you will be redirected to the partner website: ChinaPay, Geoswift, Alipay, UnionPay, Trustly, Sofort, etc.

ICICI Bank/Unifee

Seneca has partnered with ICICI Bank Canada and uses its Unifee payment processing service to facilitate electronic bank transfers to Canada. Unifee enables you to make secure and timely payment of your academic fees and tuition directly to the bank account of Seneca. Visit the Unifee by ICICI Bank website  and follow the on-screen instructions to make a payment.

Features of Unifee:

• anyone can use this service, even those without an ICICI bank account
• pay from any country listed on our website
• pay online from home, no need to visit a branch (for students from India)
• track your payments online

CIBC International Student Pay

 Seneca has partnered with CIBC International Student Pay to process payment of tuition and fees through their international payment portal. The portal allows you to conveniently make payments in your currency and benefit from preferred currency exchange rates provided from CIBC, as well as:

• easily track payments online
• receive ongoing status updates until payment is complete
