Financial Support for Students with Disabilities

Seneca Polytechnic is committed to supporting students with disabilities by providing access to financial resources that can help cover disability-related expenses while pursuing your education.

Eligible students may have access to various bursaries and grants designed to assist with the costs associated with learning accommodations and assistive technologies. These funds are available to ensure that all students, regardless of financial background, can access the support and tools they need to succeed in their studies. Available bursaries include: Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD) and Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment for Students with Disabilities (CSG-DSE).

These financial supports can help cover a range of expenses, from adaptive technologies to note-taking services, making it easier for you to focus on your academic goals. To apply, you’ll need to meet specific eligibility criteria and provide supporting documentation of your disability-related needs. If you are eligible for OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program), you may also be able to combine these bursaries with your existing financial aid package to ensure comprehensive support.

Our team can help guide you through the process and connect you with the resources that best suit your needs.
