Seneca has a number of resources available to students on all campuses. There are multiple places on campus where you can receive assistance if you have been impacted directly or indirectly by sexual violence. We are committed to protecting your dignity and treating you with compassion.
Students, staff and faculty can formally report incidents of sexual violence to the Security Services team. They are available 24-hour, seven days a week at King, Markham, Newnham and Seneca@York campuses. They can also assist you with reporting to police, safety planning, as well as connecting you to on-campus resources.
Counselling Services can provide confidential support from professional counsellors for students. They are available Monday to Friday during business hours at Newnham, King, Seneca@York and Markham campuses. Counselling support is available to all those impacted, including survivors, witnesses and students accused of sexual violence. They can also assist students with connections to resources and providing accommodations as needed.

Students, staff and faculty can receive medical care from the Seneca Medical Centre, located in Room A3000, Building A, Newnham Campus.
Students, staff and faculty who wish to report incidents of sexual violence can receive assistance from the Student Conduct Office. They investigate incidents of sexual violence when the accused person is a student and can provide you with referrals to other on-campus resources.
