Our services are built on a stepped care approach, that means you get the right level of support at the right time. From one-time sessions to brief counselling, urgent support, and skills-based groups, we’ve got your back.

Our Approach: You First

At Seneca, we use a stepped care model, which means we offer different levels of support depending on what you need. Whether you're looking for one-time support, longer-term counselling, or help navigating resources, we’re here to find the right fit for you.

We work as a team, so if your needs change, your care plan can too.

  • Self-Directed Supports: Free, online and community supports to access as you need them
  • Well-being Supports: Case management, service navigation and crisis support
  • Group Supports: Workshops and Group sessions providing support as you navigate challenges, build resilience, or work through life’s tougher moments 
  • Peer Supports: Join identity-based Student Support Groups led by Student Ambassadors, safe, welcoming spaces to connect, share experiences, and be yourself. 
  • 1:1 Supports: Single session or a few check-ins throughout the semester, these sessions help you navigate challenges and stay on track in your academic journey.
  • Community Supports: When ongoing or specialized care is needed, we’ll help connect you to trusted community-based supports and services beyond Seneca.
