South Korea is a fascinating destination well-known for its Hallyu (the Korean wave) and K-POP industry, unique delicacies, technology and innovation. The country is home to a wealth of cultural treasures and beautiful nature. 

Spend a semester abroad at Konkuk University to immerse yourself in South Korea culture and the country's beauty while gaining academic credits toward your Seneca program.

Honours Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies-(INS) students have an opportunity to study for a semester at Konkuk University in Winter 2025.

    • Fall 2024: March 15, 2024
    • Winter 2025: April 28, 2024
  • Acceptance Date: TBD
  • Pre-Departure Orientation: Approx. 2 months pre-trip
  • Return Debrief: Approx. 1 month post-trip

+Eligibility Requirements

  • Full-time students enrolled in Honours Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies-(INS) who will be in semester 6 or 7 in Winter 2025
  • Have a minimum program GPA of 2.5 and be in good academic standing
  • Open to domestic and international students

+Fees and Funding

Program fee

Regular tuition is payable to Seneca.

Participating students will be responsible for applicable visa fees, travel and living expenses while on semester exchange.

Funding
Seneca provides up to $2,500 in funding to accepted students to offset the costs of a Semester Exchange.

Funding is awarded automatically upon application. No additional funding application is required.

Students who accept to participate in a global learning opportunity must accept as a condition of participation the possibility that the program may be cancelled or terminated early due to concerns over the safety and security of students. If cancellation or termination occurs, we will refund any payments you have made and withdraw any disbursed grants. Participants may encounter additional and unexpected financial and academic implications. Seneca will work to mitigate negative implications to the best of its ability. 

International Students are required to meet with an immigration specialist to ensure their program of study and/or study permit will not be negatively impacted by travelling abroad.
