Students in Global Learning Fair 2023

Funding

GLE supports students who want to take part in global learning opportunities. And, we know that money and budget are a major barrier for you.

We offer funding to eligible students to support your journey abroad. When you apply, you are considered for ONE of two funding options.

  • International Experience Grant (Seneca bursary)

OR

  • Global Skills Opportunity (funded by the Government of Canada’s Outbound Student Mobility Pilot Program)

To receive any funding, your SIN/ITN must be correct on the Student Home portal under “Profile”.

How to Apply for Funding

When you apply to a global learning opportunity, you are also applying to our funding. You do not need to complete another application. Again, you are considered for ONE of the two funding options. Once you receive your Letter of Acceptance, you will also know how much funding you will receive. This amount is deposited into your Seneca student account.

Budget

Budgeting your global learning opportunity can seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. It is important to think and plan early. That means planning before you have applied to any opportunity.
