Timeline: Complete while you are abroad

You must complete Module 3 of the Global Learning Abroad Badge before returning to Canada. In the module you will learn about:

• Acknowledging your own biases
• Avoiding ethnocentric views and approaching cultural differences without judgement
• Exploring various perspectives on land

You will receive communication from Global Learning and Engagement and Seneca. Make sure you routinely check your mySeneca email for important information.

As a reminder, you can use International SOS in many ways.

1. Check in with iSOS:
• when you arrive at your destination;
• if you leave your destination on a weekend trip to ensure that you receive security warnings specific to your location
2. Use International SOS:
• for free and unlimited health, safety and security advice, be they of a routine or emergency nature;
• to find a local nurse, doctor or security specialist near you;
• to find medication or medical equipment;
• to get travel advice on loss of travel documents or legal assistance;
• for all medical and travel security inquiries
3. When in Need of Assistance, Contact iSOS Through:
• the free Assistance App
• assistance centres

Note: Advice is unlimited, and it is free to call. Collect calls are accepted
